Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport or customer service experience preferred
  • previous baggage handling experience preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • must be able to lift, carry, and hold up to 75 lbs
  • must be able to communicate clearly in English verbally and in writing
  • must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
  • must have US citizenship or necessary work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • ability to read and understand English

  • legal authorization to work in the US

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet outbound passengers at terminal entrance
  • determine service need and check luggage
  • direct passengers to gate and input checked baggage into baggage system
  • provide special service such as courtesy chairs, bags, and carts
  • offer general information and flight details to passengers
  • meet inbound flights to provide passenger assistance
  • transport checked and oversized baggage to appropriate locations
  • handle passengers property carefully
  • maintain compliance with government and company regulations
  • communicate effectively with supervisor and airline staff
  • attend meetings and training sessions
  • adhere to uniform and company policies
  • perform additional duties as required
