Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
- Previous baggage handling experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions if requested
- Must possess tact in dealing with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees and the public
- Must be able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate clearly in English verbally and in written form
- Must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand and/or bend throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift, carry and/or hold up to 75 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug test
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Must be a citizen of the US or possess necessary work authorization from INS
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous airport or customer service experience preferred
- Previous baggage handling experience preferred
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English verbally and in writing
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English
- Tactful and capable of dealing with diverse clientele
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Job Duties
- Meet and greet outbound passengers at terminal entrance and determine service need
- Check luggage and input checked baggage into baggage system
- Direct passengers to gate when possible
- Provide special services such as assistance with carry-on baggage, courtesy chairs, and carts
- Provide general flight information and directions to passengers
- Meet inbound flights to offer assistance with baggage and ground transportation
- Transport checked baggage and oversized luggage to baggage room
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and report maintenance needs
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Attend meetings and training sessions
- Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries
