Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport or customer service experience preferred
  • previous baggage handling experience preferred
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • able to lift, carry, and hold up to 75 lbs
  • able to stoop, squat, push, stand, and bend throughout the shift
  • able to communicate clearly in English verbally and in writing
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • must pass pre-employment background check
  • must be a US citizen or have necessary immigration authorization

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
  • previous baggage handling experience preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • able to communicate clearly in English verbally and in writing
  • able to read, understand, and follow instructions
  • familiarity with airport and government regulations preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet outbound passengers at terminal entrance
  • determine service needs and check luggage
  • direct passengers to the gate and input checked baggage into baggage system
  • provide special services such as courtesy chairs, bags, carts, and carry-on assistance as requested
  • provide general flight and terminal information to passengers
  • assist inbound passengers with baggage claim and ground transportation
  • transport checked and oversized baggage to appropriate locations
  • maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs in work area
  • follow all government, client, airport, and company regulations
  • attend meetings and training sessions as required
  • wear proper uniform and display identification
  • communicate effectively with passengers and staff
  • utilize company equipment and resources cost-effectively
  • perform other duties as assigned
