Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • must be able to work outside in all weather conditions when requested
  • must be able to lift, carry, push, stand, stoop, squat, and bend throughout shift
  • must be able to lift, carry, and hold up to 75 pounds
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • must pass pre-employment background check
  • must be U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
  • ability to read and follow instructions in English
  • ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
  • previous baggage handling experience preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • reliable telephone and transportation
  • ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both verbally and in written form
  • ability to read, understand, and carry out instructions in English
  • tact and interpersonal skills to deal professionally with situations and diverse clients
  • knowledge of Government, Client, Airport, and Company regulations

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet outbound passengers at terminal entrance
  • determine service need and check luggage
  • direct passengers to gate when possible
  • input checked baggage into baggage system
  • provide special services such as courtesy chair, bags, carts, and assistance with carry-on baggage
  • provide general information, directions, and flight information to passengers
  • meet inbound flights to offer special services to arriving passengers
  • assist passengers in claim area with baggage and ground transportation
  • transport checked baggage to appropriate locations including baggage conveyor system
  • transport oversized luggage directly to bag room
  • handle property carefully including mobility aids and luggage
  • stay informed and comply with Government, Client, Airport, and Company regulations
  • keep supervisor informed of area needs and problems
  • maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs
  • respond to inquiries courteously
  • attend meetings and in-service training
  • wear proper uniform or business attire with visible identification
  • adhere to company policies and contribute to company objectives
  • use company and client equipment, supplies, and resources responsibly
  • perform other duties as requested
