Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport or customer service experience preferred
  • previous baggage handling experience preferred
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • must possess tact in dealing with clients, employees and public
  • able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • must be physically able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand and bend throughout the shift
  • able to lift, carry or hold up to 75 lbs
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • must pass a pre-employment background check
  • must be a US citizen or possess authorized immigration status

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport or customer service experience preferred
  • previous baggage handling experience preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English verbally and in writing
  • ability to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • familiarity with government, client, airport, and company regulations

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet outbound passengers at terminal entrance
  • determine service need and check luggage
  • direct passengers to gate when possible
  • input checked baggage into baggage system
  • provide special services such as courtesy chairs, bags, carts, and assistance with carry-on baggage
  • provide general information, directions and flight information to passengers
  • assist inbound passengers with baggage claim and ground transportation
  • transport checked baggage including oversized articles to appropriate locations
  • maintain cleanliness and inform supervisor of problems
  • adhere to company policies and regulations
  • attend meetings and training sessions
  • project a positive and courteous image at all times
  • handle property with care and attention
  • perform other duties as assigned
