Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • must pass pre-employment background check
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug test
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • must be a US citizen or have necessary work authorization
  • must be able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • must be physically able to lift, carry and/or hold up to 75 pounds
  • must adhere to company uniform and identification policy

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport or customer service experience preferred
  • previous baggage handling experience preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • possess tact to handle various situations and interact with diverse clients
  • ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English verbally and in writing
  • ability to work from verbal and written instructions
  • knowledge of government, client, airport, and company regulations
  • ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • ability to lift, carry, and hold up to 75 pounds
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug test
  • must pass background check
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • legal authorization to work in the US

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet outbound passengers at terminal entrance
  • determine service need and check luggage
  • direct passengers to gate when possible
  • input checked baggage into baggage system
  • provide special services such as courtesy chairs, bags, carts, and assistance with carry-on baggage
  • offer general information, directions and flight information to passengers
  • transport checked baggage and oversized luggage to appropriate locations
  • ensure careful handling of property including mobility aids and luggage
  • maintain knowledge of government, client, airport, and company regulations
  • keep supervisor informed of needs and problems
  • maintain cleanliness of work area
  • comply with safety requirements, report unsafe conditions and workplace injuries
  • attend meetings and in-services
  • wear proper uniform and identification
  • adhere to company policies and procedures
  • utilize equipment and resources cost-effectively
  • perform other duties as requested
