Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport or customer service experience preferred
  • previous baggage handling experience preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • reliable telephone and transportation
  • able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • tactful and professional communication
  • able to read and follow instructions in English
  • physical capability for lifting and mobility
  • pass required drug tests
  • pass background check
  • lawful work authorization in the US

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport or customer service experience preferred
  • previous baggage handling experience preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • tactful in dealing with various people
  • ability to read, understand, and carry out instructions in English
  • clear verbal and written communication skills
  • physical ability to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand, and bend
  • able to lift, carry, and hold up to 75 lbs
  • pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • pass pre-employment background check
  • US citizenship or proper immigration authorization

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet outbound passengers at terminal entrance
  • determine service need and check luggage
  • direct passengers to gate when possible
  • input checked baggage into baggage system
  • provide special service such as courtesy chair, bags, carts assistance
  • provide general information, directions and flight information to passengers
  • transport checked baggage to appropriate locations
  • handle oversized luggage transporting to bag room
  • maintain neat and careful handling of property
  • be familiar with all government, client, airport, and company regulations
  • keep supervisor informed of needs and problems
  • maintain cleanliness of work area
  • report maintenance needs
  • project a positive image and respond to inquiries courteously
  • attend meetings and in-services
  • adhere to company uniform and identification policies
  • follow company procedures and objectives
  • utilize equipment, supplies and resources cost-effectively
  • perform other duties as requested
