Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years experience in food and beverage operations and management
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required government licenses or permits
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department rules, liquor laws
  • One to two years experience in a public contact role preferably in an upscale or lifestyle hotel
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 15 pounds
  • Capability for prolonged standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, and visual acuity

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Two to three years experience in food and beverage operations and management
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government required licenses or permits
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques and relevant regulations
  • One to two years experience in a public contact position preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships and work independently as well as in a team

Job Duties

  • Coordinate, supervise, and direct Skybar food and beverage operations
  • Work with Marketing Manager to promote Skybar and provide support in gathering picture and video content
  • Provide creative input on general direction of Skybar and special events
  • Manage sales and incentive programs for table and ticket sales strategically
  • Establish, monitor, and manage budgeted revenue and net operating income
  • Develop and implement action plans to achieve or exceed revenue goals
  • Ensure adherence to labor and expense guidelines to maintain budgets
  • Enforce Standard Operating Procedures and promote guest satisfaction
  • Act as liaison between restaurant and beverage operations
  • Supervise Skybar personnel and respond promptly to guest complaints
  • Monitor industry trends and maintain competitive operations
  • Coordinate loss prevention and prepare reports
  • Organize department meetings and monitor quality of service and products
  • Initiate menu planning and ensure compliance with liquor and health regulations
  • Train department heads and develop personnel
