Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years experience in food and beverage operations and management
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required government licenses, certificates, or permits
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with health department and liquor laws
  • One to two years experience in a public contact position in upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
  • Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Two to three years experience in food and beverage operations and management
  • Ability to obtain required government licenses or permits
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • Understanding of health department rules and liquor laws
  • One to two years experience in a public contact role preferably in upscale or lifestyle hotels
  • Strong multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
  • High-level attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Duties

  • Coordinate, supervise, and direct Skybar food and beverage operations
  • Market Skybar in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
  • Provide creative input on Skybar direction and special events
  • Manage sales and incentive programs for table and ticket sales
  • Establish, monitor, and manage budgeted revenue and net operating income
  • Develop and implement action plans to achieve revenue goals
  • Ensure adherence to labor and expense budgets
  • Institute and monitor service and product upgrades
  • Enforce Standard Operating Procedures
  • Promote guest satisfaction and loyalty programs
  • Act as liaison between restaurant and beverage operations
  • Supervise and lead Skybar personnel
  • Respond to guest complaints promptly
  • Monitor industry trends to maintain competitive operations
  • Coordinate loss prevention efforts in the beverage department
  • Prepare and submit reports timely
  • Conduct regular department meetings
  • Initiate menu planning and preparation
  • Ensure compliance with liquor laws and health regulations
  • Train department heads on SOPs and technical tasks
  • Select, train, and develop department personnel
  • Maintain communication with Executive Committee and General Manager
  • Monitor quality of service and products
