Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for normal job functions
- Frequently immerse hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
- Frequently work with sharp knives, utensils, and hot plates
- Frequently work in hot environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience
- Experience in high volume and casual dining restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation pertaining to Soups, Sauté, Broiler, Fry, and Pantry
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- Comfortable conversing with customers
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
- Perform all station functions including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and cooking eggs
- Communicate ticket times and potential problems to manager and servers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and equipment
- Practice excellent food safety and comply with HACCP standards
- Operate a variety of kitchen equipment
- Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of product
