Job Requirements
- Current active-duty service member
- meets DoD SkillBridge qualifications
- available to participate for 90 days
- obtain approval from unit commander and acknowledge SkillBridge participation can be terminated if mission requirements dictate
- work remotely in the continental US
- high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- state driver’s license
- national or state paramedic certification (as applicable)
- CPR certification
- PALS certification
- PHTLS or ITLS certification
- pass physical ability test
- driving record in compliance with company policy

Job Duties
- Assess each call situation to determine best course of action using progressive paramedic protocols
- utilize paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care
- communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance of care
- act as paramedic team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed
- drive ambulance on 911 responses
- work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow paramedics
- participate in community programs to maintain GMR image and establish strong community relations
