Job Requirements

  • Current active-duty service member
  • Meets DoD SkillBridge qualifications
  • Available to participate for a minimum of 90 days
  • Obtain unit commander approval with agreement SkillBridge participation can be terminated if mission requires
  • State driver's license
  • Pass physical agility test
  • Some healthcare or related work experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid state EMT license as applicable
  • Current BLS and NREMT certifications
  • Driving record compliant with company policy
  • Ability to work remotely within the continental US
  • Some prior healthcare experience preferred
  • Physical ability to pass agility test

Job Duties

  • Provide assessment of patients and determine necessary care and emergency services
  • Document patient information, condition, and treatment maintaining confidentiality and patient rights
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients
  • Utilize EMT skills including communications, medical equipment handling, cleaning procedures, and office equipment
  • Operate ambulance adhering to company safety policies and traffic laws
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow EMTs
  • Participate in community programs to uphold AMR's image and foster strong community relations
