Job Requirements
- Current active-duty service member
- Meets DoD SkillBridge qualifications
- Available to participate for a minimum of 90 days
- Obtain unit commander approval with agreement SkillBridge participation can be terminated if mission requires
- State driver's license
- Pass physical agility test
- Some healthcare or related work experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state EMT license as applicable
- Current BLS and NREMT certifications
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Ability to work remotely within the continental US
- Some prior healthcare experience preferred
- Physical ability to pass agility test
Job Duties
- Provide assessment of patients and determine necessary care and emergency services
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment maintaining confidentiality and patient rights
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients
- Utilize EMT skills including communications, medical equipment handling, cleaning procedures, and office equipment
- Operate ambulance adhering to company safety policies and traffic laws
- Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow EMTs
- Participate in community programs to uphold AMR's image and foster strong community relations
