Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and a minimum of five years of construction experience or seven years of related construction experience with increasing responsibility in lieu of a degree
  • experience within the light or heavy industrial sector highly desired
  • excellent leadership skills
  • excellent organizational skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong problem solving skills
  • ability to travel up to 100%

Job Duties

  • Manage daily activities of the quality control program
  • attend project pre-construction meetings to discuss the QMS program and review lessons learned
  • train team members in the use of quality control program and support question resolution
  • perform administrative setup of projects within quality program database and assist in audits
  • ensure the quality program provides effective monitoring of overall quality
  • accumulate data from quality control program for marketing, training, and improvement
  • conduct jobsite inspections and audits and report findings
  • perform quality control inspections of installations for compliance
  • work with service team to incorporate checklist items into QMS based on warranty callbacks
  • inspect products, materials, and equipment for compliance
  • ensure manufacturer and installer qualifications comply with contract
  • coordinate required sampling and testing
  • maintain jobsite test and inspection plans and documentation
  • create and maintain project specific quality control plans
