Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or minimum seven years related construction experience with increasing responsibility
  • experience within the light or heavy industrial sector highly desired
  • excellent leadership skills
  • excellent organizational skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • excellent problem solving skills
  • ability to travel up to 100% of the time

Job Duties

  • Manage daily activities of the quality control program
  • attend project pre-construction meetings to discuss the quality management system program
  • train team members in the use of the quality control program and support question resolution
  • perform administrative project setup and assist in database support and audits
  • ensure the quality program provides effective monitoring of organizational quality
  • accumulate data for marketing, training, and best practices
  • conduct jobsite inspections and audits to ensure quality controls are in place
  • perform quality control inspections of installations
  • work with the Service Team Manager to incorporate checklist items into the quality management system
  • inspect incoming products, materials, and equipment for compliance
  • ensure qualifications of manufacturers and installers are current
  • coordinate sampling and testing to avoid work delays
  • maintain jobsite test and inspection plans and logs
  • create and maintain approved project-specific quality control plans
