Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • availability to work from 8 am to 4 pm during game days
  • willing to work weekend shifts
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to interact professionally with children, parents, staff, and volunteers
  • must be a reliable and punctual individual
  • prior experience in sports or event management is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • field set up and break down for game day events
  • ensure program operates on time
  • conduct parent meetings when required
  • point of contact for all on-field inquiries including resolution of all disputes or conflicts
  • answer customer questions and proactively interact with the parents at the field
  • manage and direct a group of volunteer coaches and staff to ensure a positive experience for both the players and parents
  • distribute all pertinent information to staff, parents, and coaches
  • serve as the on-field official and referee liaison
  • act as a replacement referee or team coach, when necessary
  • organize equipment for daily distribution
  • ensure the integrity of the brand
  • manage all special events at the field such as opening day and award presentations
  • ensure the venue is cleaned and returned to original condition after each game day and event
  • manage the sale of merchandise on-site such as mouth guards and concessions
