Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in food service or culinary operations
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong customer service skills
- leadership experience or capability to lead a team
- knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation

- ability to manage inventory and orders
- physical ability to handle stocking and kitchen tasks
Job Qualifications
- experience cooking or managing meals in a school or similar setting
- familiarity with National School Lunch program requirements
- proven leadership skills
- knowledge of inventory management
- ability to adhere to food safety regulations
- excellent organizational skills
- strong interpersonal skills for engaging with students and staff
- proficiency in basic administrative tasks
Job Duties
- lead the daily preparation and service for breakfast, snack, and or lunch
- execute meals in accordance with the daily menu and recipe standards
- ensure on-time service according to the school schedule
- manage food service associates and ensure they follow procedures and provide excellent customer service
- complete accurate National School Lunch-compliant production records
- manage financial performance including inventory and food waste
- receive and inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy
- ensure all food safety practices are followed
- take daily inventory and place orders accordingly
- maintain health department standards for a food safe environment
- serve as the face of Genuine Foods by interacting warmly with students, teachers, and parents
- report to field manager and culinary and operations directors and perform related duties
