Job Requirements

  • One or more years of previous front desk, cafe, retail, and/or demo gear shop experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Comfort with internet and new software
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must have or be able to obtain a State Food Handler Card
  • Must have or be able to obtain a State Alcohol Server Permit

Job Duties

  • Split time between the front desk, cafe, retail, housekeeping, and gear rental responsibilities
  • Learn reservation, POS, and gear rental software
  • Ensure smooth check-in and check-out for all guests
  • Make and serve cafe food and beverages following food safety and alcohol service policies
  • Have a working knowledge of operating cafe and rental equipment
  • Learn general specs of gear in retail and rental shops
  • Work opening and closing shifts and follow cash handling procedures
  • Take care of guests and answer their questions
  • Develop thorough knowledge of room types, amenities, and local recommendations
  • Keep front desk, cafe, retail, and demo areas neat and organized
  • Ensure all guest areas, including public spaces, are clean
  • Assist with special events and group meetings including AV and sound equipment setup
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
