Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum of 5 years in transportation operations or general management
- leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional groups
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- commitment to safety and compliance standards
- valid driver's license

- previous experience in transportation management or a similar operational leadership role

- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial objectives
- proven track record of improving operational processes and service delivery
- experience with contract compliance and customer service excellence
- ability to analyze business procedures and implement effective solutions
- comfort with data analysis and performance metrics
- proficiency in using relevant management software and tools
Job Duties
- provide daily and ongoing leadership of managers, supervisors, and other business leaders within the Louisiana shuttle operations
- lead daily operational functions with a focus on excellence in service delivery, operational efficiency, and contract compliance
- serve as a primary communication point for contract customers at the location, ensuring their needs, updates, and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally
- organize and oversee the work and expectations of departmental managers
- review, analyze, and evaluate business procedures to include but not be limited to vehicle utilization, scheduling, customer satisfaction initiatives, inter-company, and intra-department process flows
- implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations
- ensure work environments are efficient and safe
- plan, direct, control, implement, evaluate, monitor, and forecast budgets for operations to achieve financial objectives
- communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to managers for major changes and meet the entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale
- contribute alongside business development and other business leaders to formulate goals and objectives
- supervise the local payroll process and coordinate with corporate payroll for timely and accurate submission
- partner with human resources to support staffing, onboarding, and employee relations needs
- partner with corporate leadership to review and improve policies and operational practices, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and industry standards
- take ownership of performance outcomes by setting clear expectations, monitoring key metrics, and driving strategic process improvements across teams
- inspire and develop frontline leaders to uphold service standards, resolve operational challenges, and continuously elevate team performance
