Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and environmental programs
  • Minimum 3 years of people and performance management experience or 2 years Amazon Safety experience
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks
  • Stand or walk for up to 12 hours
  • Ability to obtain First Aid, CPR, AED certification within 3 weeks if not already certified
  • Comfortable working in variable temperature and noise environments
  • Ability to continuously climb and descend stairs if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years of increasing responsibility in workplace health and safety or environmental programs
  • Experience in people and performance management
  • Distribution center or manufacturing EHS experience preferred
  • Certified Safety Professional (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement departmental goals and strategies

Job Duties

  • Lead implementation of the Global Workplace Health & Safety Program
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and site audits to identify hazards
  • Analyze safety data and incident trends to develop preventive strategies
  • Drive safety leadership and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership to integrate safety into business processes
  • Manage first aid and emergency response programs
  • Ensure compliance with WHS policies and regulations
