Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and environmental programs
- Minimum 3 years of people and performance management experience or 2 years Amazon Safety experience
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Stand or walk for up to 12 hours
- Ability to obtain First Aid, CPR, AED certification within 3 weeks if not already certified
- Comfortable working in variable temperature and noise environments
- Ability to continuously climb and descend stairs if applicable
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years of increasing responsibility in workplace health and safety or environmental programs
- Experience in people and performance management
- Distribution center or manufacturing EHS experience preferred
- Certified Safety Professional (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement departmental goals and strategies
Job Duties
- Lead implementation of the Global Workplace Health & Safety Program
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and site audits to identify hazards
- Analyze safety data and incident trends to develop preventive strategies
- Drive safety leadership and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to integrate safety into business processes
- Manage first aid and emergency response programs
- Ensure compliance with WHS policies and regulations
