Job Requirements

  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with airplane single-engine land (ASEL) with instrument rating
  • Must be able to relocate to within 90 minutes of the FlightSafety Dallas - North facility
  • Must meet the requirements of 14 CFR § 135.337 and 135.338 for simulator qualification
  • Excellent presentation ability
  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of and the ability to teach aircraft systems, operating procedures and policies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team oriented and self-directed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn new software and systems efficiently
  • Some travel required as needed at other training locations
  • Ability to work flexible work hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Conduct initial, recurrent, upgrade training and checking in the Pilatus PC-12 simulator
  • Generate and maintain the schedule of sessions in the Dallas simulators throughout the year
  • Assist the Director of Training in researching, evaluating, and implementing new or revised training systems, policies, and procedures
  • Teach aircraft systems, operating procedures and policies effectively
  • Provide excellent presentations and maintain clear communication with trainees
  • Ensure compliance with FAA and company training standards
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance training quality
