Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in administration or event planning/coordination
- Minimum five years professional experience as an events coordinator or executive assistant
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Willingness to work on-site at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently
- Adherence to military and hospital protocol standards
Job Qualifications

- Minimum of five years of professional experience as an events coordinator or executive assistant
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- U.S. citizenship
- Familiarity with military and hospital settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience coordinating complex events with multiple stakeholders
Job Duties
- Plans and coordinates educational activities, seminars, meetings, conferences, vendor events, tours, and research symposia for the Department of Simulation and the National Capital Region Simulation Consortium
- Arranges use of facilities and coordinates participation of personnel
- Provides attendance rosters and informational briefings to keep Service Chiefs and Medical Directors updated
- Assists with scheduling of simulation training rooms across multiple affiliated sites
- Reviews event requirements and makes recommendations for planning
- Resolves scheduling conflicts and coordinates logistics including transportation, lodging, catering, and interpretation
- Assists in procedures for handling visits by high-level military and civilian dignitaries
- Serves as point of contact for visitors and maintains protocol regulations
- Coordinates with contractors, Service Chiefs, Department Chiefs, staff officers, and Public Affairs Officers
- Keeps leadership informed of visitor arrangements and status
- Manages testing appointment schedules for various formal testing processes
- Develops and implements programs aligned with organizational goals
- Oversees special events publicizing the organization and its programs
