Job Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years butler experience at ultra luxury property
- Preferred minimum 2 years in hospitality management role
- Lifting 50 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in housekeeping, front office, and food & beverage knowledge
- Expertise in standard butler practices
- Ability to coach and train team members in both classroom and on the job settings
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High level of emotional intelligence and discretion
- Valid United States drivers license
Job Duties
- Managing the stay details of the Signature Suite guests from pre-arrival to post stay including packing/unpacking services, dining and recreation reservations, in-room requests, transportation needs, and bespoke services
- Communicating directly with Destination and Leisure Sales teams upon booking of Signature Suites
- Proficiently utilize all hotel software including but not limited to hotel PMS system, housekeeping software, food & beverage and recreation reservation systems
- Coordinating with VIP team on all pre-arrival communication via phone, email, and text message
- Serve as a liaison between the guest and all hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and flawless execution of all requests
- Greeting, escorting, and checking in all Signature Suite guests
- Establish genuine rapport and relationships with Signature Suite guests
- Collaborate with housekeeping, engineering, and all other necessary departments to ensure all suites are immaculately kept, maintained, and ready for guest arrival
- Maintain butler pantry with necessary items needed for guest service including conducting inventories on a weekly basis
- Managerial responsibilities including scheduling, payroll, disciplinary action, and ordering will be proactively completed
- Function as a butler for all rooms as assigned by Hotel Manager
- Train all newly hired butlers for both Tower and Yacht Club on service standards
- Host two-day Butler Academy training sessions covering topics such as wine service, grooming standards, butler duties, and clothing handling
- Conduct on-the-floor training and shadowing of all current team members on a weekly and monthly basis
