Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- no prior experience required
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- ability to work safely and alertly
- must be licensed for the type of equipment assigned
- must pass medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations
- must be at least 21 years old
- effective verbal communication skills in a noisy environment
- ability to read and speak English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages of any weight over 50 lbs with assistance or appropriate equipment
- ability to work with power and hand tools
- must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations
- effective verbal communication skills
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and respond to official inquiries
- must be at least 21 years old
- must hold a valid license for the equipment assigned
Job Duties
- Perform shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle
- load and unload aircraft and vehicles
- sort packages
- perform other duties as assigned
- work safely and alertly in a noisy operation environment
- communicate effectively in a time-sensitive manner
- comply with federal motor carrier safety regulations
