Job Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license required and must be carried on duty
- Must maintain an acceptable DMV driving record
- DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) required
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and potentially 3rd shift
- Physical ability to stand, walk, occasionally sit, climb, balance, and lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions and communications
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Willingness to maintain neat appearance and uniform compliance
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Ability to perform assigned duties satisfactorily
- Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Effective communication skills in one-on-one interactions
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Physical capability to perform job functions including lifting up to 75 pounds
- Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear uniform consistently
Job Duties
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of shuttle interiors
- Fuel buses and log trip counts accurately
- Assist disabled passengers and help with luggage when applicable
- Be punctual, present in uniform, and ready to work scheduled shifts
- Courteously assist customers and direct them to facility managers as necessary
- Report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, and unusual occurrences to management
- Substitute for cashiers or valets if authorized
- Maintain thorough knowledge of garage areas, streets, landmarks, and freeways
- Communicate hazards such as debris and spills to the garage office
- Assist facility manager with additional duties as needed
