Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • no experience required, on the job training provided
  • no high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • may require CDL with specific class and endorsement requirements
  • able to safely operate shuttle vehicle
  • physical ability to assist passengers and handle luggage
  • ability to follow safety protocols and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • no experience required, on the job training provided
  • preferred one year of prior work experience as passenger shuttle driver
  • may require CDL with specific class and endorsements
  • good customer service and safety awareness
  • ability to communicate courteously with passengers
  • basic vehicle inspection and maintenance knowledge

Job Duties

  • Transport, load and unload passengers providing daily transportation services at designated pick-up and drop-off locations
  • ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers including the handling of specialized equipment for passengers with special needs
  • help passengers to load and unload luggage as needed
  • inspect vehicles regularly to find unsafe conditions or maintenance issues and perform routine cleaning and maintenance
  • meet patrons needing assistance to and from various airport locations and lots
  • inspect shuttle for preexisting damage and record information using electronic devices or manual tickets
  • provide excellent customer service responding to guest inquiries in a courteous manner
  • maintain and enforce bus evacuation plan and coordinate bus evacuation activities as appropriate
  • immediately report any incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
  • refuel and maintain shuttle equipment and fuel use logs
  • maintain a clean work environment disinfecting shuttle after each use
  • perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities ensuring proper operating and safety standards compliance
