Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED equivalent
  • experience driving shuttle bus or commercial vehicles preferred
  • must possess a valid driver's license with passenger endorsement or CDL
  • minimum of two years licensed driving experience
  • must be able to pass DOT physical exam
  • ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
  • ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
  • ability to walk and stand for extended periods in all weather conditions
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment depending on customer volume, shift, or season
  • possess positive and professional attitude with strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Drive shuttle bus passengers safely to and from the hotel
  • cheerfully greet passengers and assist with baggage loading and unloading
  • operate the vehicle in a safe manner and record any vehicle issues on appropriate forms
  • communicate with dispatchers, drivers, and other employees using a two-way radio system to coordinate routes and handle delays or issues
  • conduct pre/post trip inspections of shuttle buses to ensure operating conditions
  • monitor traffic and weather conditions and notify dispatch or supervisor of potential problems
  • report accidents or safety situations to dispatch or supervisor
  • treat all customers courteously, friendly, and professionally
