Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent
- Valid state driver license
- Commercial driver license preferred
- Prior experience in hospitality or transportation services preferred
- Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Good physical condition to lift and handle luggage and packages
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
- Willingness to comply with background and substance abuse screenings
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to follow security procedures for guest information
- Capable of performing light cleaning duties
- Reliable and punctual

Job Duties
- Warmly welcome guests, creating a positive first impression of hotel
- Hold doors open while guests go through
- Promote hotel facilities and provide accurate information on hotel facilities, local attractions/events, transportation arrangement and directions around the community
- Maintain effective communication within Bell Staff and with all hotel departments
- Attend meetings as scheduled and respond to instructions and suggestions
- Perform bell staff duties including loading and unloading guest luggage and belongings from various vehicles
- Escort guests to and from guest rooms
- Transport luggage/belongings to and from guest rooms, bell closet and other hotel areas
- Navigate bell carts carefully through public areas, in and out of elevators and corridors
- Demonstrate features of guest rooms and promote hotel facilities
- Deliver guest faxes and amenities
- Complete baggage claim tickets, read and match luggage tags to tickets, and give guests their portion of claim tickets
- Organize and store luggage in designated areas
- Transport guests to and from designated locations using official hotel vehicles in accordance with safety laws
- Properly maintain and clean hotel vehicles
- Drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles safely
- Ensure timely delivery of guest luggage, packages, gifts, messages, facsimiles, newspapers, etc.
- Follow security procedures for handling guest room keys and protecting guest information
- Listen to and promptly address guest problems and complaints
- Clean and organize hotel front entrance, bell stand area and bell closet
- Adhere to traffic regulations while transporting guests
- Remain calm and alert during emergencies or heavy hotel activity
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English
- Lift luggage, packages and boxes safely
- Maintain alert and attentive demeanor
- Take vehicles for periodic servicing and fueling
- Assist Bell Captain when necessary
- Pick up and deliver laundry to designated locations
- Develop and maintain productive interpersonal relationships
