Job Description

VPA is a reputable transportation service provider specializing in shuttle operations within the Worcester area. They operate walk-on 14-passenger vehicles, providing steady and local shuttle routes. VPA values safety, professionalism, and customer service, ensuring that both their employees and passengers have a positive experience. Job Requirements

  • Valid class D (non-CDL) license in good standing
  • At least 20 years of age
  • Valid DOT medical card or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to pass background check and driving test
  • Ability to work full-time, year-round Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
  • Basic professional driving experience
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Valid class D (non-CDL) license in good standing
  • Minimum age of 20 years
  • Valid DOT medical card
  • Professional driving experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow safety and operational procedures
  • Background checks and driving test clearance

Job Duties

  • Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can
  • Safely shuttling customers to various destinations
  • Opening and closing doors for patrons
  • Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles
  • Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers including radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants
  • Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal and company safety requirements
  • Recording passenger counts and trip times
  • Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
  • Assisting in equipment setup and breakdown such as signs and cones
  • Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
  • Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management
  • Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations
