Job Requirements
- Must be over 20 years old
- Possess a valid Rhode Island Chauffeur license or CDL with passenger endorsement
- Hold a valid medical card
- Previous customer service experience
- Pass background checks
- Pass driving test
- Ability to operate a 14 passenger shuttle safely
- Reliable transportation to work
- Ability to work the scheduled hours from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Valid Rhode Island Chauffeur license or CDL with passenger endorsement
- Valid medical card
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to follow safety protocols and traffic laws
- Experience in pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Job Duties
- Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can
- Safely shuttling customers to various destinations
- Opening and closing doors for patrons
- Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles
- Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers including radio contact with management, shuttle drivers and lot attendants
- Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements
- Recording passenger counts and trip times
- Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
- Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones etc.)
- Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
- Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management
- Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations
