Job Requirements

  • Must be over 20 years old
  • Possess a valid Rhode Island Chauffeur license or CDL with passenger endorsement
  • Hold a valid medical card
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Pass background checks
  • Pass driving test
  • Ability to operate a 14 passenger shuttle safely
  • Reliable transportation to work
  • Ability to work the scheduled hours from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience
  • Valid Rhode Island Chauffeur license or CDL with passenger endorsement
  • Valid medical card
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and traffic laws
  • Experience in pre-trip vehicle inspections
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to complete paperwork accurately
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge

Job Duties

  • Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can
  • Safely shuttling customers to various destinations
  • Opening and closing doors for patrons
  • Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles
  • Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers including radio contact with management, shuttle drivers and lot attendants
  • Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements
  • Recording passenger counts and trip times
  • Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
  • Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones etc.)
  • Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
  • Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management
  • Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations
