Job Requirements

  • Possess a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain an acceptable DMV record
  • Be present for scheduled shifts on time and in uniform
  • Ability to perform physical demands including standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to work special shifts including weekends or third shift if needed
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance
  • Communicate effectively with customers and facility management
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Less than high school education or one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • Knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways

Job Duties

  • Drive shuttle buses safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their destinations
  • Provide exceptional customer service including answering questions and offering city directions
  • Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of bus interiors
  • Fuel buses and log trip counts accurately
  • Assist disabled passengers and handle luggage when applicable
  • Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized
  • Report accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to Facility Manager
