Job Requirements
- Possess a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain an acceptable DMV record
- Be present for scheduled shifts on time and in uniform
- Ability to perform physical demands including standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work special shifts including weekends or third shift if needed
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance
- Communicate effectively with customers and facility management
- Follow all DOT regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education or one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
- Knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways
Job Duties
- Drive shuttle buses safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their destinations
- Provide exceptional customer service including answering questions and offering city directions
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of bus interiors
- Fuel buses and log trip counts accurately
- Assist disabled passengers and handle luggage when applicable
- Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized
- Report accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to Facility Manager
