Job Requirements

  • Less than high school education or one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement
  • DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card)
  • Ability to work varied shifts including 3rd shift and/or weekends if required
  • Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English
  • Neat and clean appearance, wearing uniform
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, handle cash and equipment, and lift or move up to 75 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and colleagues
  • Ability to add, subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide by tens and hundreds
  • Basic understanding of American currency
  • Neat and clean appearance, wearing uniform at all times
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, handle cash and equipment regularly and occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds

Job Duties

  • Deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise including answering questions, offering city directions, and ensuring positive interactions
  • Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of shuttle bus interiors, fuel buses, and log trip counts
  • Assist disabled passengers and customers with luggage when applicable
  • Be punctual, present, and in uniform for all scheduled shifts
  • Maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license and an acceptable DMV record at all times
  • Report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, and unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager
  • Communicate environmental hazards such as debris and spills to the garage office
  • Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when authorized
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of garage areas, major streets, landmarks and freeways to assist customers effectively
  • Assist Facility Manager with additional duties as required
