Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid state driver license
- Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Maintain an alert and attentive demeanor
- Ability to lift heavy luggage and packages
- Compliance with all traffic and safety regulations
- Successfully pass background and substance abuse screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver license required
- Commercial driver license (CDL) preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
- Experience in guest services or hospitality is beneficial
- Proven safe driving record
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong interpersonal skills with patience and diplomacy
- Ability to read and comprehend English for luggage tags and instructions
Job Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and hold doors open for them
- Promote hotel facilities and provide accurate information on local attractions and transportation
- Communicate effectively with bell staff and other hotel departments
- Perform bell staff duties including handling guest luggage and escorting guests
- Operate hotel vehicles safely to transport guests to designated locations
- Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of hotel vehicles
- Manage luggage claim tickets and store luggage in designated areas
- Respond promptly to guest problems and ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow security procedures and handle guest room keys with care
- Clean and organize hotel front entrance, bell stand area and bell closet
- Comply with traffic regulations and maintain composure during emergencies
- Assist Bell Captain when necessary
- Perform pre-driving checklists on vehicles daily
