Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • Must have a Class A and/or Class B CDL driver’s license with passenger endorsement and airbrakes
  • No prior experience required
  • Ability to work full time or part time shifts including days, swing and graveyard
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to passenger assistance and vehicle maintenance
  • Must pass all applicable safety and background screenings

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • One year of prior work experience as a passenger shuttle driver preferred
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Skill in operating specialized equipment like wheelchair lifts
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation safety standards
  • Capability to perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Transport, load and unload passengers, providing daily transportation services at designated pick-up and drop-off locations
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of passengers including the use of specialized equipment for those with special needs, such as wheelchair lifts and tie-downs
  • Assist passengers with luggage loading and unloading as required
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to identify safety or maintenance issues
  • perform routine cleaning and maintenance activities on the shuttle
  • Assist patrons requiring help to and from various airport locations and parking lots
  • Inspect shuttle vehicles for any preexisting damage, recording such information accurately using electronic devices or manual logs
  • Provide courteous and responsive customer service to guests, including giving directions and handling inquiries
  • Maintain and enforce the bus evacuation plan and coordinate evacuation activities if necessary
  • Immediately report any incidents or claims to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead
  • Refuel shuttle vehicles and maintain accurate fuel use logs
  • Keep the shuttle and working environment clean by disinfecting the vehicle after each use
  • Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation standards and safety regulations
