Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be insurable and maintain insurability under the college’s automobile insurance policy
- Ability to follow instructions and respond promptly to transportation requests
- Capability to perform routine vehicle safety checks
- Ability to remain calm and professional in changing traffic conditions
- Read and write at a level necessary for job performance
- Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs
Job Qualifications
- Formal or informal education sufficient to read and write effectively
- No prior work experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate and maintain a shuttle and/or golf cart
- Knowledge of campus layout and key travel routes
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Safely transport students, employees, and visitors to designated locations across the campus
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained shuttle vehicle in compliance with campus safety guidelines
- Follow campus traffic laws and safe-driving practices at all times
- Provide courteous, professional, and prompt customer service
- Perform routine safety checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Navigate campus roads and adjust routes as necessary to maintain schedules
- Assist passengers safely, including those with mobility needs
