Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Experience in operating passenger vehicles preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check including security-sensitive screening
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond promptly
  • Physical ability to assist passengers with mobility needs

  • Understanding of basic traffic laws and safe-driving practices

  • Ability to operate shuttle vehicles and golf carts safely

  • Experience in navigating campus environments

  • Skills in assisting passengers with mobility challenges
  • Capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Job Duties

  • Safely transport students, employees, and visitors across campus
  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of shuttle vehicles
  • Operate 15-passenger shuttles and golf carts according to campus safety guidelines
  • Perform routine safety inspections and report mechanical issues promptly
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service
  • Follow scheduled routes and adjust as needed for safety and efficiency
  • Assist passengers, including those with mobility needs, ensuring their safety and comfort
