Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • no high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
  • no prior experience required as on-the-job training is provided
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • capacity to assist passengers in a courteous and professional manner
  • physically able to assist with passenger mobility and baggage handling
  • willingness to work flexible hours
  • ability to adhere to safety protocols and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • One year of customer service or similar work experience preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to engage positively with diverse passengers
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic knowledge of airport and airline services preferred
  • willingness to assist passengers with varying needs
  • team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Act as a welcome ambassador for arriving passengers
  • greet and engage with passengers in and around the terminal area to offer informational assistance
  • communicate effectively with passengers regarding airport and airline services available
  • assist the Airline Passenger Assistant with transporting passengers in wheelchairs to and from flights
  • escort unaccompanied minors
  • assist with baggage as required
  • monitor and enforce carry-on baggage size requirements
  • coordinate passenger lines at check-in to ensure a smooth and orderly flow during peak times
  • provide assistance to passengers using kiosks to check-in
  • assist the Aircraft Cabin Agent with grooming of aircrafts
  • transfer and distribute wheelchairs as needed
  • alert maintenance employees about malfunctioning restrooms or equipment
  • report hazards and incidents encountered in daily operation
  • follow safety precautions at all times
