Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years box truck or straight truck and route management experience
  • standard driver’s license with clean driving record
  • must pass background check and drug test including THC screening
  • ability to read and communicate in English
  • willingness to work early weekday start times and long route hours
  • adherence to company safety and compliance policies
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading truck

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum 3 years of experience in driving box truck or straight truck and route management
  • current driver’s license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record
  • ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and respond to inquiries
  • familiarity with Department of Transportation regulations
  • customer service skills
  • ability to operate company equipment safely

Job Duties

  • Perform onsite and offsite document destruction of confidential information
  • perform pre-trip and post-trip checks and driver check-in on assigned truck
  • report maintenance issues to transportation dispatcher for follow-up
  • operate company equipment safely and efficiently
  • comply with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service
  • complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable
  • maintain security when emptying consoles and collection totes by ensuring all documents are retrieved and consoles securely locked
  • service accounts using hand-held device ensuring accuracy of console barcodes and locations
  • manage assigned routes ensuring timely and accurate collection and servicing of confidential materials
  • handle and respond to customer problems and inquiries promptly
  • perform other duties as assigned
