Job Requirements
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to obtain or renew government required licenses such as gaming registration and alcohol awareness education certification
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to talk on the phone for long periods of time
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including morning, swing, late-night shifts until 2am and occasional split shifts
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must speak, read, write, and understand English
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Ability to obtain or renew all government required licenses including gaming registration and alcohol awareness education certification
- Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Self-starter with great organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and people smarts
- Proactive and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must speak, read, write, and understand English
Job Duties
- Prepare and provide proper and professional beverage service to all customers and cocktail staff in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
- Ensure hotel beverage department employees and guests receive quality products and good service
- Take beverage orders from customers and make per departmental standards, delivering in timely manner
- Input and ring-up charges for guests orders using POS system, create a check for each transaction, make and return any change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment including removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, emptying garbage, sweeping/mopping floors, scrubbing/sanitizing equipment
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar daily including before, during and after shift duties such as refilling chemicals, hand soap containers, ice and beer bins
- Listen and respond to guest inquiries with positive, clear speaking voice, answer questions and offer assistance for guest satisfaction, provide accurate information regarding hotel services and local attractions
- Work varying schedules reflecting business needs of the hotel including mornings, swings, late nights, weekends and holidays
- Make constant contact with internal and external customers to provide optimal guest service
- Perform other duties as assigned
