Job Requirements
- must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment
- able to deal effectively with customers, management, team members and others
- regularly required to sit

- may reach with hands and arms above shoulder level

- must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment

Job Duties
- knowledge, understanding, and adherence to company and departmental policies and procedures
- assist the bartender(s) and cocktail staff in performance of their duties
- maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis including before, during and after shift
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times during shift including: removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, picking up and dumping garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing equipment
- maintain an organized bar
- ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items and hotel services
- greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner
- ability to interact with the public and provide excellent customer service
- ability to have and make conversation
- know guidelines for serving alcohol with care
- knowing and conveying hotel activities to guests
- perform specific tasks related to bars as assigned: organizing, ordering, stocking and cleaning
- ability to lift and carry product by hand as well as with carts or hand trucks
- maintain and organize bars and storerooms
- refill chemicals such as hand soap or glass washer chemicals
- ability to operate a glassware washing machine
- ability to re-fill ice bins and beer bins, utilizing ice machines
- knowledge of product
- ability to operate a glassware washer
- answering phones
- maintain proper inventory of product
- maintain a neat, professional image and appearance at all times
- all other duties as assigned
