Job Requirements

  • ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
  • ability to perform basic computer functions
  • ability to lift regularly 25 lbs and occasionally up to 60 lbs
  • ability to work with fresh and processed seafood products
  • ability to work in varying temperatures
  • ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
  • ability to climb ladders
  • ability to interact kindly with customers
  • ability to work cooperatively with others
  • ability to work assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies
  • ability to engage and lead associates to achieve goals

Job Qualifications

  • ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English
  • ability to perform basic math
  • experience in food retail or seafood management preferred
  • prior experience leading a team
  • knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to operate basic computer applications
  • leadership and training experience

Job Duties

  • direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Seafood Department and its associates
  • ensure compliance with food safety and company policies
  • maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • train, develop, and engage associates
  • oversee inventory, pricing, and stocking of seafood products
  • lead efforts to provide outstanding customer service
  • manage department finances and operational efficiency
