Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, occasionally lift 60 lbs
  • Ability to work with fresh, dried, and processed products without adverse allergic reactions
  • Ability to tolerate varying temperatures and exposure to dust and cleaning agents
  • Ability to climb ladders to retrieve items
  • Ability to work all assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies
  • Ability to engage and lead associates to achieve goals

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions
  • Experience in food service or retail management preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • Ability to work cooperatively and engage with customers and associates

Job Duties

  • Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and relevant laws
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Supervise associates and enforce safety protocols
  • Greet customers and provide courteous service
  • Manage hiring, training, and development of department staff
  • Ensure proper merchandising, product rotation, and pricing
  • Handle inventory accuracy and reclamation procedures
  • Utilize technology and maintain accurate department records
  • Monitor department financials and adjust operations accordingly
  • Assist with food preparation, catering, and special orders
