Job Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, occasionally lift 60 lbs
- Ability to work with fresh, dried, and processed products without adverse allergic reactions
- Ability to tolerate varying temperatures and exposure to dust and cleaning agents
- Ability to climb ladders to retrieve items
- Ability to work all assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies
- Ability to engage and lead associates to achieve goals
Job Qualifications
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Experience in food service or retail management preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work cooperatively and engage with customers and associates
Job Duties
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and relevant laws
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Supervise associates and enforce safety protocols
- Greet customers and provide courteous service
- Manage hiring, training, and development of department staff
- Ensure proper merchandising, product rotation, and pricing
- Handle inventory accuracy and reclamation procedures
- Utilize technology and maintain accurate department records
- Monitor department financials and adjust operations accordingly
- Assist with food preparation, catering, and special orders
