Job Requirements

  • Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 60 lbs
  • Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures
  • Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties
  • Ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items from overhead racking and storage areas
  • Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies
  • Ability to engage and lead associates to achieve department goals

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in food service management or related field
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in customer service and conflict resolution
  • Ability to manage financial aspects of department operations

Job Duties

  • Perform all duties in accordance with all company policies and programs, and local, state, and federal laws and regulations including environmental, health, safety and security
  • Perform all duties in accordance with HAACP and Food Handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment according to Department QA standards
  • Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance
  • Supervise associates including onboarding, training, and performance feedback
  • Monitor and maintain department presentation including pricing, stocking, and signage
  • Utilize required technology to manage food service operations and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Verify accuracy of invoices and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Manage department financials and adjust operations to meet goals
  • Lead and engage associates to ensure department goals of sales, profit, customer experience, and associate engagement are met
  • Maintain food safety certification and adhere to all food safety and handling standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
