Job Requirements
- ability to proficiently read write speak analyze interpret and understand the English language
- ability to perform basic math
- ability to stand walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- ability to perform basic computer functions
- ability to stand bend twist reach push pull and regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift 60 lbs
- ability to work with fresh dried and or processed products spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences
- ability to work in varying temperatures
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties
- ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items from overhead storage areas
- ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- ability to work cooperatively with others
- ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies
- ability to engage and lead associates to achieve department goals
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- experience in food service or retail management preferred

Job Duties
- perform all duties in accordance with company policies and laws including environmental health safety and security regulations
- maintain compliance with HAACP and food handling procedures
- supervise associates in proper use of equipment and personal protective equipment
- maintain clean neat organized and safe food service environment
- greet customers and provide prompt courteous service
- promote charitable promotions to customers
- interview select and train new department associates
- provide training developmental action planning and feedback to associates
- ensure all department pricing and labeling are accurate and current
- monitor food service storage cleanliness and preparation
- stock rotate and face merchandise according to company standards
- verify accuracy of invoices and quality of received product
- maintain all reports and records accurately and in accordance with company policy
- understand and utilize all required technology and applications
- maintain proper staffing levels and comply with all labor regulations
- assist in food preparation catering and special orders as needed
- perform other duties as assigned
