Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift 60 lbs
- Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without allergic consequences
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties
- Ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items from overhead racking and storage areas
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with time and attendance policies
- Ability to engage and lead associates to achieve department goals
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English proficiently
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Experience in food service or retail management preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train and develop associates
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company dress code
- Ability to utilize technology and applications related to food service operations
Job Duties
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and all local, state, and federal laws
- Enforce food safety and HACCP protocols
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized food service environment
- Supervise associates and ensure proper use of equipment and personal protective equipment
- Greet customers and provide courteous service
- Assist in onboarding, training, and developing associates
- Ensure accurate pricing, product stocking, and presentation
- Monitor inventory, verify invoices, and ensure quality of received products
- Maintain temperature logs and production sheets
- Utilize applications and technology for food service operations
- Enforce company policies and procedures consistently
- Manage department financials and control shrinkage
- Lead associates to achieve department sales and customer experience goals
- Assist with food preparation, catering, and special orders
- Maintain compliance with labor regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
