Job Requirements
- ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 60 lbs
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
- ability to work with fresh, dried and processed products and spices without allergic consequences
- ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items
- ability to work cooperatively with others
- ability to comply with time and attendance policies
- ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- ability to work all assigned schedules
- ability to maintain punctual and regular attendance
Job Qualifications
- ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the english language
- ability to perform basic math
- ability to perform basic computer functions
- ability to engage and lead associates
- experience in food service or retail management preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety and health regulations
Job Duties
- perform all duties in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws
- supervise food safety and compliance procedures including haacp and hazcom adherence
- maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment
- communicate and enforce department and company safety policies
- train and lead food service associates to achieve department goals
- ensure proper stocking, rotation, and presentation of food service products
- manage department operations including inventory accuracy, pricing, and regulatory compliance
