Job Requirements

  • ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
  • ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 60 lbs
  • ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
  • ability to work with fresh, dried and processed products and spices without allergic consequences
  • ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items
  • ability to work cooperatively with others
  • ability to comply with time and attendance policies
  • ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
  • ability to work all assigned schedules
  • ability to maintain punctual and regular attendance

Job Qualifications

  • ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the english language
  • ability to perform basic math
  • ability to perform basic computer functions
  • ability to engage and lead associates
  • experience in food service or retail management preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and health regulations

Job Duties

  • perform all duties in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws
  • supervise food safety and compliance procedures including haacp and hazcom adherence
  • maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • communicate and enforce department and company safety policies
  • train and lead food service associates to achieve department goals
  • ensure proper stocking, rotation, and presentation of food service products
  • manage department operations including inventory accuracy, pricing, and regulatory compliance
