Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess valid state driver’s license
- Have a driving record free of infractions
- Ability to drive continuously throughout scheduled shift
- Ability to operate GPS and organize deliveries efficiently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently
- Ability to stand or walk for the entire scheduled shift
- Ability to handle American currency and perform basic math
- Ability to physically lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Ability to work safely with spices, powdered substances, and chemicals
- Ability to interact politely and helpfully with customers
- Ability to cooperate well with coworkers
- Willingness to comply with time and attendance policies and work assigned schedules
- Must be at least 18 years old to operate certain machinery such as balers, hi-los, power jacks, and slicing machines

- Ability to tolerate dust and chemical agents during routine housekeeping duties

Job Duties
- Greet all customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance
- Maintain good communications with associates and management throughout the organization
- Perform other projects/assignments as designated by store management as directed
- Maintain valid documentation for use of vehicle such as license, registration, insurance
- Utilize vehicle for authorized company business only
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized vehicle, adhering to automotive service recommendations regularly
- Ensure complete order is loaded for delivery and safely secured in vehicle
- Obey all traffic regulations and report any traffic incidents
- Make timely and efficient deliveries
- Ensure all payments are made in full, may use handheld electronic payment device
- Exhibit utmost professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with patients and their health information
- Complete HIPAA privacy and security training modules
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment according to sanitation and QA standards
- Keep floor clear of debris and spills
- Perform duties in accordance with company’s HAZCOM program and adhere to manufacturer’s label instructions for safe use of chemical products
- Utilize and maintain equipment as required by department and report any equipment problems immediately
- Regularly lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise weighing 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Stand at work station for duration of scheduled shift possibly exceeding 8 hours per day
- Check prices and be knowledgeable about location of items in the store
- Promote charitable promotions to customers
- Understand and adhere to company shrink guidelines related to front-end operations
- Perform duties complying with local, state and federal regulations relevant to front-end operations
- Comply with company rules, policies, safety and security standards as well as health and civil code regulations
- Complete all applicable department training programs
- Perform all duties in accordance with ShopRite service priorities of safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance
- Work overtime as assigned
- Work cooperatively with others
- Operate balers, hi-los, power jacks, and slicing machines if 18 years or older
- Perform other duties as assigned
