Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Manage the flow of catering orders from customers and production side of the business
- Maintain communication with department managers regarding orders, changes, or issues
- Coordinate, schedule, and communicate all pick-ups and deliveries to clients, department managers, and customer service
- Have product knowledge including servings, amounts, cost, and complimentary item suggestions
- Utilize Wakefern’s Order Ready Online catering tool to maximize data tracking
- Use social media and local events to grow the ShopRite Kitchen catering brand
- Develop and maintain customer relationships through follow-up calls and handwritten notes
- Participate in Wakefern training opportunities
- Regularly lift, pull, push, and rotate equipment and merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs
- Maintain product signage to alert customers to choices and ingredients
- Perform duties in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to catering operations
- Adhere to company HAZCOM program and safety procedures for chemical products
- Follow company dress and grooming policies
- Maintain QA hand washing standards and use disposable gloves when handling food
- Comply with company rules, policies, safety requirements, and health regulations
- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
- Check prices and be knowledgeable about item locations in the store
- Promote charitable campaigns to customers
- Adhere to company shrink guidelines
- Provide superior customer service
- Complete all applicable department training
- Uphold ShopRite service priorities of safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment
- Observe safe working methods
- Work assigned overtime as needed
- Cooperate with team members
- Stand for extended shifts, potentially over 8 hours
- Operate machinery such as balers and slicing machines if over 18
- Perform additional duties as assigned
