- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment
- keep floor clear of debris and spills
- perform duties according to local, state and federal regulations
- comply with company rules, policies, safety, and security standards
- dress and groom according to company policy
- follow QA hand washing standards and use disposable gloves when handling unpackaged foods
- greet customers and provide courteous service
- operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures
- accurately scan and price products
- lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
- check prices and know item locations
- collect payments and provide proper change
- process various forms of payment
- promote charitable sales
- bag customer orders safely and efficiently
- handle damaged or return-to-stock products
- recognize various store products including produce
- stand for entire scheduled shift
- adhere to company shrink guidelines
- follow HAZCOM and chemical safety protocols
- maintain and report equipment issues
- complete department training
- uphold service priorities
- maintain punctual attendance
- work overtime as assigned
- cooperate with others
- operate equipment if 18 or older
- perform other duties as assigned
