Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language
- ability to assist the Bakery Manager
- ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to work in varying temperatures
- ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- maintain department sanitation and quality assurance standards
- clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment
- keep floor clear of debris and spills
- greet all customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance
- maintain and properly use all department equipment
- pack out product into display cases
- rotate product to ensure freshness
- ensure accurate signage for the department
- prepare trays to company and customer satisfaction
- perform duties in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
- dress and groom according to company policy
- perform duties according to quality assurance hand washing standards and use disposable gloves when handling food
- follow recipes to produce food products with specified qualities
- adhere to weights and measures guidelines
- operate and maintain baking and mixing equipment
- prepare special order requests
- track sales on production logs
- conduct inventory and reorder supplies as needed
- check prices and product locations
- promote charitable sales
- stand at workstation for extended periods
- receive deliveries and place reclamation
- lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise
- unload trucks and transport merchandise
- assist other departments when instructed
- follow company rules, safety, and security standards
- adhere to hazardous communication program
- follow procedures for receiving, storing and restocking products
- handle damaged and spoiled products
- adhere to company shrink guidelines
- check and report refrigeration performance
- report equipment problems
- complete department training programs
- maintain punctual and regular attendance
