Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to work in varying temperatures
- ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products without negative allergic reactions
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during housekeeping
- ability to work all assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies
- must be 18 years or older to operate heavy equipment
- ability to maintain punctual and regular attendance
- adhere to company safety, health, and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language

- knowledge of bakery operations or willingness to learn
- basic understanding of food safety practices
- good physical stamina to stand and lift moderately heavy items

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- maintain department sanitation and quality assurance standards
- clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment
- keep floor clear of debris and spills
- greet all customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance
- maintain and properly use all department equipment
- pack out product into display cases
- rotate product to ensure freshness
- ensure accurate signage for the department
- prepare trays to company and customer satisfaction
- perform duties in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
- dress and groom according to company policy including uniform and hair restraints
- follow recipes to produce consistent food products
- set up, operate and tend bakery equipment
- prepare special order requests
- track sales on production logs
- take inventory of supplies and reorder as needed
- promote charitable sales
- stand for duration of shifts
- receive deliveries
- unload trucks and transport merchandise
- assist in other departments as needed
- follow company safety and health codes
- perform duties in accordance with the company hazcom program
- handle damaged or spoiled products according to policy
- check refrigeration equipment regularly
- utilize and maintain equipment
- complete training programs
- work cooperatively with others
- maintain punctual and regular attendance
- work overtime as assigned
